The orders export report helps you get your Upstock orders into another app, saving you having to manually enter them 🙌🏽.

Set your report parameters

To get started, go to Reports › Export report and set the report parameters. These will be saved, so next time you can export with one click!

Order status

This lets you include orders based on their status. There are two options: All ordered or Approved only, plus you can choose whether to include cancelled orders. Here's a summary of what each option includes.

Export format

Next, choose the app you are exporting to. Orders will be exported in the format the app requires, making the process quick and easy. The Standard format is a generic format for exporting to spreadsheets. Delivery Run reports are useful when managing shipments, and Production Tallies reports is useful when you need to know the total numbers of each product you need to make.

Date range

Next, choose a date range. The default option is Since last export. This is helpful if you're regularly exporting orders, as it makes sure no orders are missed. Alternatively, you can enter a custom date range.

Report straight from your orders list

Alternatively, you can use filtering in the main orders list to select a group of orders and then export the report from there. You'll find more info about how to do that in this article.

Tip: when reporting from the orders list, it uses the delivery date to filter the orders. If you prefer to export with the ordering date, use the Reports page.

Export your orders

Once your report parameters are set, a preview of the orders will be shown. When you’re ready, hit Export. You'll get a CSV file which you can then import into another app.

Using custom fields

In some cases, the system you’re importing into may require additional fields for the import to work. E.g. the system may need a customer ID, delivery area or warehouse.

To achieve this, the extra fields can be added to customer profiles in Upstock. To add custom fields, please get in touch.

Once custom fields are added, they will be included in the exported data. They will also show on each customer's profile in Upstock.

Request an export format

We have a growing list of export formats. If you would like a format added, chat with our friendly team in the app.
