To automatically raise invoices, each of your customers in Upstock needs a Xero contact associated with them.
It’s important to choose the correct Xero contact. The contact you choose will be invoiced and have sales attributed to them in your financial reports.
Choosing a Xero contact
When you approve the first order for a customer, you’ll be asked to choose a Xero contact for them.
You can either search your existing Xero contacts and find a match, or create a new Xero contact. We recommend searching first, to avoid creating a duplicates.
Updating the Xero contact for a customer
You can change the Xero contact associated with a customer at any time. Just go to customers › customer details.
